Jasonville resident Joe Beatty is named to Shakamak High School faculty as an agricultural teacher filling a vacancy from a resignation and a promotion. Beatty is a Purdue graduate and Navy veteran who served on Project Mercury Recoveries and Dew Line duties in the North Atlantic and belongs to Alpha Tau Alpha.
David C. Pfendler will speak at the Greene County Soil and Water Conservation District annual meeting and free fish fry on Thursday Feb 9 at Eastern School.
