Change of venue sought in maniacal shooting case in Bedford
Special Judge James B. Wilson heard motions to move the state case against Jenkins and Turpin for first degree murder from Lawrence County to Greene County. The Greene County term opens February 11, with defense pushing for an early trial. The two defendants, escorted by Sheriff Tyree from Pendleton, appeared in Bedford in identical clothing.
