Cullison 80 a retired coal miner and farmer of two miles northwest of Linton died at 4 a m after a year long illness He was born Aug 18 1858 east of Bloomfield Greene County He moved to Linton 53 years ago and was a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church He is survived by his widow three children twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren one brother and two sisters Funeral services will be held at the family home Friday at 1 pm and at Walnut Grove church at 2 30 pm Burial will be in Walnut Grove cemetery Flowers please be omitted.

Anna Stewart, 13, daughter of Willard Stewart of A Street Southeast, had a major operation this morning. Earl Myers of Salsberry Route 1, with pneumonia, was admitted for treatment. Ira Lunn was admitted for X ray observation Tuesday evening and dismissed afterward. Ray Hawkins of Jasonville Rural Route had X-Ray observation this morning. Mrs Troy Scroggins and baby were taken to their home in West Linton this morning.

Charles Foote of Palestine was injured when a freight cut on an Illinois Central track rolled downhill and struck his locomotive.
