Union Services Continue Amid Heavy Rain

The Interchurch Council voted to extend the January union services through February. Dr E N Evans gave a strong talk on Gods presence in human affairs. Rev Robert Earls arrived from Nashville and will preach nightly with topics like Gods Wrestling Match and The Cripple Man at Your Gate. A large crowd attended, 30 decisions were reported, and offerings covered most debts.

Legion of County Posts Statewide Membership Drive

Greene county Legion members announced a statewide membership contest to boost posts across the district and state for 1926. Delegates from Jasonville L K Hoechstetler Marshall Barrick and Harry M Price attended the Indianapolis state conference to outline policies for the coming year.

Help Needed for Wright Family in Salvation Army Appeal

Ensign Morris of the local Salvation Army corps received a letter from Otto Wright, father of a ill child seeking aid as Mayo Hospital doctors attempt to save his wife. Rochester corps report about $7 more is needed for clinic fees, living expenses, and railroad fare. The baby underwent a fourth cancer removal operation and has a good chance to recover. surgeons charged nothing, and railroads offer half fare rates. The Daily Citizen will receive and receipt for donations at Ensign Morris's request.
