Trucks in Accident On Lone Tree Road
Two trucks collide one and a quarter miles north of Highway 54 on Lone Tree Road at 4 55 p m Wednesday. Flora Willis 11 of Indianapolis died early today from burns from a fire that swept her upstairs apartment last Friday. Her sisters Katie 12 and Ida 10 remained hospitalized in critical and serious condition. Father Cato and brother Sylvester 15 suffered minor burns during the escape after being awakened by smoke.

State Board Approves Vincennes Hospital License
The State Board of Health on Wednesday approved a 1966 license for Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes after delaying for compliance with state regulations. The board also reviewed reports on a planned expansion estimated at 4.5 to 5.5 million dollars which would phase out an old wing, the major objection to renewal. Without renewal Knox County would have lacked a public hospital.

Missing Tires Reported At Linton Outfit
Eight mud and snow tires were reported missing this morning from a truck parked in the alley behind H and L Tire Co. on East Vincennes Street in Linton. A spokesman said the business was open all night and the truck had been loaded and left behind the store. The loss is about $100. Linton Police continue to investigate.
