Chicago police and prosecutors disclosed a Ku Klux Klan ring within the force. A patrolman Donald Heath and two other officers were linked to a Klan cell in a west side district, with a large arsenal and cross burning gear found at Heaths home. Hunting Accident Reported In Indiana Woods
Ralph Taylor, 47, of Bloomfield, was wounded in a hunting accident at 3 p.m. Thursday while rabbit hunting between Linton and Switz City. A misfired pistol strap snagged the trigger as he reassessed the weapon, bullet hitting the right leg above the knee. He received treatment at Freeman-Greene County Hospital and was released.
