Cory Store Robbed in Cory Clay County Night Burglary
Thieves broke two doors at R. L. Bennett’s Cory store in Clay County last night. They ransacked the premises and loaded merchandise into an awaiting car, escaping with cigarettes, sweaters, shirts, gum, and other goods valued in the hundreds of dollars. Shoes dropped near the scene and a strange man in a touring car were noted by residents. Bennett found the break-in at opening.
