Lyons Club Sets Yule Celebration
The Lyons Community Betterment club approved plans for its annual Christmas party at a Monday meeting. Awards will be presented at the town hall at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22, as Santa arrives at 7:30 p.m. to distribute treats. The club invites all residents. over 400 attended last year and similar turnout is expected. The club also plans to deliver baskets of canned goods to needy families, collected by Lyons Cub Scout Troop in Halloween trick-or-treat activity.

Testimony in Coroner's Inquest on Mrs Pirtle’s Death
