Three Die in Oklahoma Plane Crash Near Seminole

A light single engine plane crashed 14 miles south of Seminole Oklahoma killing three aboard. Victims identified as Ollie Bonn Martin and C S Tucker both from Wewoka. a third passenger unnamed with a card bearing W T Tucker Duncan. Fire chief Jack Gale said firefighters extinguished the blaze about two hours after the crash.

Ten Indicted in Indianapolis Slayings Case

Ten persons were indicted by a Marion County grand jury on charges tied to five Indianapolis murders. Harry Joseph Adams, 23, faces accessory after the fact in the Leland Paul Miller slaying as Adams seeks to testify in a Greenfield hands and feet murder trial. Howard G. Pollard is charged with murdering Miller during a drinking spree with Adams as an accomplice. Adams, already serving a 15 year term for an Evansville robbery, is among those named. Indictments also cover five men in the fatal slugging of cab driver Marion Pauley on Nov. 8, with three additional men facing separate homicide charges.

Welders Win Two Untested Welders Triumph Over Worthington Scores

The A and B Welders of Linton Junior High remained undefeated with 36-14 and 53-1 wins over Worthington Grade School squads at Worthington gym. Wilson led Linton A with 18 points. Woman Escapes After Assault Attempt In Indianapolis

A 34-year-old housewife told police she fought off a would be rapist who burned her hands and chest with a lit cigarette. She said the man grabbed her on a dark corner after she left a city trolley, knocked her down, but she resisted until an approaching car caused him to flee.
