Linton High Opens Basketball Schedule With Midland Victory
Linton High School opened its basketball schedule at Midland last night, winning 24 to 19 as both teams showed promise but needed more practice. Midland led briefly in the second half before Linton pulled away, with standout play from Rhodenbeck and Parks for Linton and Flint and Swaby for Midland. The crowd turnout was large, and coach Landis plans daily strenuous workouts to fix kinks and build a stronger unit.
