Jasonville Man Dies in Greene County Jail
Carl Motsinger, 46, of Jasonville, died in the Greene County jail in Bloomfield after being arrested on charges of violating the Indiana alcoholic beverages act. Coroner Dr. Geo Porter attributed the death to an alcoholic condition. He was held for questioning in a burglary at the Eagle Lodge hall and was found dead at 8:15 this morning by bailiff John Keplinger.

The Linton Independent five fell 39 to 33 to Jacksonville All Stars in Jasonville. Cahall led the visitors with 17 points while Linton’s Hern don topped the locals with seven. A newborn boy weighing nine pounds eight ounces was born at 8 30 this morning to Dr and Mrs Frank A Bailey. Mrs Bert Hendren of Bloomfield was admitted last evening for treatment. Unconfirmed report from Shanghai states Generalissimo Chiang Kai-Shek ordered destruction of harbor bridges and Japanese mills at Tsingtao, a key part of foreign commerce on the Yellow Sea. Ashbourne Orange of Oklahoma A. M. College sold for 2608 dollars at the Thirty-eighth International Livestock Exposition auction.
