United Priss Dispatch reports in Cape Town that the Prince of Wales will embark on the British cruiser Enterprise at Dar-es-Salaam at 10 a.m. tomorrow. The ship is expected to sail for Suez after radio advisories indicated readiness and arrival this day.

A rock catapulted from a stone quarry at the Indiana reformatory crashed through the roof and ceiling of Benjamin Kiphart's living room near Pendleton. The rock went through the floor and buried itself under the house, initially mistaken for a meteor before authorities traced it to the quarry.
Work crews along the BF and C. railroad unearthed a den of water moccasin snakes two feet underground. Twenty snakes, ranging from 18 inches to three feet, were killed as they were hibernating for winter under the embankment.
Thomas Geary detective was shot in a saloon owned by Representative Lawrence G O'Brien. Bartender Thomas Mullarkey seized a patrolman’s gun and shot Geary in the head, then fled but was captured by officers Ha nes and Johnson. The murder sparks talk of a citywide police shakeup as vice enforcement intensifies.
The $1,000,000 air mail theft yesterday near Lambert Airport ended with negligible loss. Bandits seized five mail pouches from a truck driver and forced him and his wife to surrender the pouches containing checks for New York banks. Some registered mail was stolen, but authorities said the banks will incur mainly trouble and the checks hold no value to the bandits.

Leonard played varsity three years and freshman one, at guard then center, making an all state list by Blaine Patton. Raymond played center for Old Gold Freshman and played in both games. He is a Rector scholar and pledge to Men s Hall association.
Louis Goodman, owner of a Gary department store, went on trial in U.S. district court on a charge of receiving stolen property in interstate shipments. Damaging evidence showed stolen goods moving from fences to Goodman's store. The defense plans to argue blackmail.

A Rock Island train from Kansas City to Minneapolis crashed into a local near Enter prise, fourteen miles north of Des Moines. More than twenty people were injured and four were taken to Des Moines hospital.

Charles Hoppe a 26 year old Toledo chauffeur died in the electric chair at the state penitentiary following his conviction for the murder of his seven year old cousin Dorothy Sczelagowski who was kidnapped assaulted and killed last May Hoppe faced execution after John Rucker a Cincinnati policeman killer was put to death.
