Bough explained registration duties, approved and sworn in by the clerk. Music by Bert Brown and his WPA orchestra accompanied campaign songs by Sia Craig. Miss Mary Ruth Robey sang two solos. Democratic candidates were introduced, and a reception with iced cream and cake followed.

Summer concert schedule ends season at City Park
Linton's annual summer concert program closes the season Thursday night at City Park with an 8 o'clock opening. Final rites for Chester Robertson 17 year old Linton high school athlete will be held at 2 PM Thursday from the O'Hern residence. Interment will be in Wairview cemetery. He died after a diving accident at a pond left him paralyzed and he later died in an Indianapolis hospital. Survivors include his father Newt Robertson and sister Mrs P H O'Hern. Funeral arrangements are handled by Clayton Funeral Home.
