Cat Adopts Rabbits in Sullivan County Tale

Mr and Mrs Ralph Pennington of Gill township Sullivan Indiana report a curious pet scene a mother cat with six kittens took in two young rabbits from a nearby clover field and nursed them alongside her own brood after disposing of two of the kittens the mother cat persisted in nursing four kittens and the two rabbits leaving observers puzzled by the unlikely animal bond.

Indianapolis April 28 Geo N Mannfeld fish and game division superintendent announces a 1921 law prohibiting fishing for large and small mouth bass and bluegills from April 30 to June 16 to protect nesting fish. Catch and release required if caught. The law aims to safeguard eggs and support hatcheries for stocking.

Japanese General Sako Dies by Own Hand in Vladivostok

Lieut Gen Sako commander in chief of the Japanese division at Vladivostok ended his life after the January shooting of US Navy Lt W H Langdon. Sako reportedly felt responsible or irritated by government handling of the incident. Langdon was killed by sentry Toshigoro Ogasawa. court martial found him not guilty but he received one month for false statements.
