Roy Glenn and Joseph Hase man, local scoutmasters, joined Boy Scout officers from the Wabash valley in Terre Haute for a noteworthy meeting. Delegates came from Paris, Robinson, Sullivan, Brazil, Linton, Clinton and Terre Haute. A banquet followed, and the Terre Haute council hosted a profitable event. Terre Haute residents have contributed $10,000 this year for scout work, and Clarence Freeman of Linton donated several acres for a scout park east of Terre Haute.
Dreamland presents the first episode of Thunderbolt Jack the new Western serial starring Jack Hoxie described as the greatest western serial of all time. Also showing The Diamond Queen and Velvet Fingers all seats 10 cents. Tomorrow and Friday features include When We Were Twenty One and Western Rays with Frizi Ridgeway.
Guy H. Humphreys writes friends that he and his wife and two daughters plan to spend part of the summer in Bloomfield. He has resigned as superintendent of the Industrial Home School at Washington D C and will rest with old friends before resuming institutional work.

The local carpenters union sent a letter to John Hessler of District No. 11 United Mine Workers about miners working in carpentry without carpenters' cards. Hessler replied that workers must join the miners' union to work as miners, or affiliates with the carpenters' union to do carpenter work, with the union offering to assist in handling noncompliant workers. The Ladies Aid Society of the Baptist church will conduct an all day work meeting at the church tomorrow.
The Greene County Indiana treasurer will offer for sale bonds worth 11500 dollars at the treasurer's office on the three mile road. The issue consists of ten series bearing five percent interest and payable in five years. Bonds issued under the petition of Chas E Lind et al in Stafford township. Witnessed by the Board of County Commissioners on April 12 1921.
