Demonstrator killed by own coal mine machine at Petersburg
C R Warren 28 of Columbus Ohio, a Jeffries Manufacturing demonstrator, died instantly at Simplex coal mine one mile north of Petersburg Ind while testing a new cutting and loading machine. He started the machine and stood on slack when his overalls sleeve caught on a knife and pulled him into the machinery. Widow survives. body to be returned to Columbus for burial.
