Tax Payers Meeting and Linneus City Council Minutes

Tax payers of three Linn County townships meet at the courthouse March 13 1875 to discuss repudiation and delegate selection for a state convention. City Council in Linneus and adjourned sessions address tax credits and repairs with mayor pro tem and election judges appointed for April 6 1875. The new Congress convenes December with twenty one contested seats.
