Terrible Night and Ghost Tales from a Rustic Cottage

A fragmented narrative recalls a night of fear in a rural home with a banshee fright, locked rooms, and echoes of unseen visitors. The tale interweaves family misadventure, a dramatic rescuer, and a later account of a tight rope performer’s death and Luther’s study of faith, ending with assorted short items.
