Blossoms And Snow Collide Near Edenton
On the Hertford pike near Edenton last night a collision occurred between a Norfolk man and a Sligo resident. Roger Snow was badly injured when his truck was struck while parked to tune the carburetor and Arthur Blosoms swerved into Snow’s vehicle. both cars were taken for repairs.

A Monday night meeting at the courthouse organized a new group to provide actual necessities to those in need during the hard winter months. Widow fires on intruder. man struck and dies in Ansonville
In Ansonville at 3 am a widowed mother Mrs Budetta Dula fired a charge from a public safety item through her door glass fatally injuring a Black man who was attempting to enter the home. Dula said the intruder had pulled a screen from a bedroom window. A letter in the intruder’s pocket was addressed to Dan Morrison in Hamlet and emailed from St George Georgia.
