Hamm Released by Kidnappers in Minnesota Ransom Case

Billionaire Paul Brewer, president of Theodore Hamm Brewing, was released unharmed sixty hours after a kidnap note demanded $100,000 in cash. The ransom, aid for the driver to transport money, involved Verne Sankey and other suspects linked to Haskell Hahn and Charles Boetteler cases. Police were kept out at the family's request, and a postscript urged immediate payment.

State Fair comes to Royal Theatre this weekend

More than 100000 people including eight stars of the film arrive for State Fair at the Royal Theatre in Lime Springs this Friday and Saturday June 23 and 24.
