Lime Springs street work underway by Benderoff Co

Dust reduction and seal coating are in progress on Lime Springs streets by the W. C. Benderoff Co under a $3500 contract with the town. Areas include blocks south of Harry Kitchen’s, Main Street to Highway 157, Brown Park to Munkel corner, Gordon Williams area, and Lyle Ibns to Loren Johnson alley. About 1/3 gallon oil and 35 pounds of white rock per square yard are applied. eight workers operate a full fleet and the project targets a completion by week’s end in time for the Centennial.
