Low Iowa Primary Turnout Reports Forest City Vote Count

In Forest City and Howard County Iowa saw a light Monday primary with 110 votes cast in Forest City the slowest in Lime Springs. Contests included Moory over Naden for Lt Governor Abrahamson over Reed Liddy over Thompson Bump over Woodward Gross over Seemann Scalise over Wilson Peterson over Stokes. Several incumbents seek reelection with few Democratic battles in the state race.

Lime Springs Pool Set to Open with Repairs

The Lime Springs municipal pool may open this weekend if no further repairs are needed. David Mason returns as manager and Linda Foce starts as concessionaire. Major interior work includes new filter sleeves and resurfacing. Lights in the deep end were removed to stop water leakage.

Children’s Pictures To Be Taken For Publication

Superintendent Baker seeks jury trial over contract suit
