Chas E Hearst president of the Tow a Farm Bureau Federation recently returned from Washington D C spoke at the Howard County Farm Bureau annual meeting. He said three relief measures are being pushed by Organized agriculture for legislation to ease the agricultural situation. The plan includes a domestic allotment premium for producers who limit output, a new agricultural credit system reorganizing Federal banking, and stabilization of the dollar. The measures are being considered by national farm groups. The program also featured a twelve-voice male chorus and performances by 4-H members detailing livestock judging trips and club merit awards.
