The Universal Bible Sunday was observed at the Presbyterian Church. A large crowd attended despite cold weather. Readings and papers on The Message of the Bible and The Bible and the Modern World were presented by William Jones Mrs A G Buchanan Miss Lovern Johnson and others. Reverend Jones led devotions and music was provided by the Ladies Chorus and the Choir with performances by a quartet. Older Girls and Boys Conference Held in Cresco

Prescott accompanied by Dorothy Thomas attended the Olden Girls and Boys Conference in Cresco at the M. E. Church. Dorothy Thomas presided as conference president, with Miss Florence Thomas present. Registration began at 8:30, the afternoon program included a social hour, and a 6 o'clock banquet followed. The theme was The Youth of Today in the World of Tomorrow, and delegates from Howard Winneshiek and Allamakee counties participated.
