Obituary note for Mrs Minnie Wilken 84 died at Cresco home of her daughter. Service held at Schacht home and Saint Matthews Lutheran Church Granger with Rev Boese. Burial at Saint Matthews Cemetery. Born 1888 in Ostfriesland Germany she immigrated with husband Johan Wilken and raised eight children across Illinois South Dakota and Iowa. Hearing set January 21 on Milwaukee Road trains
The Minnesota Railroad and Warehouse Commission schedules a 10:30 a.m. hearing January 21 at Austin City Hall on Milwaukee Road’s request to discontinue passenger trains No 103 and No 122 between Austin and the Iowa line.
