Death of T. C. Crenshaw in Lexington community
The community mourns T. C. Crenshaw a respected Lexington citizen who died suddenly on a Union Pacific train arriving in Kansas City. Born July 10 1838 in Lynchburg Virginia he moved to Missouri as a child and lived in Lexington for about 45 years. He was married to Mary Green and survived by four children two sisters and a half sister. A longtime saddlery salesman with Axtell Saddlery, he was noted for a quiet Christian life. Funeral held Sunday evening at the Methodist church with a large turnout from many walks of life.
