A Good Fellow drew a large crowd under the same management as Are You A Mason and pleased the audience with a clever plot well chosen cast and catchy music. Grace Admoe starred in the title role and musical numbers were excellent. Davis and lifield were popular and the vaudeville by Jackson Newcomb and Davis was musical. Davis the soubrette impressed but used a time worn device to draw laughs.

Richard Cavanaugh Jr died Wednesday evening at 45 at his brother in law’s home in west Lexington after a long illness linked to typhoid fever and other ailments. Survived by widow Mary Murphy and three children, plus three brothers Joseph, Dennis, and William. He was a member of Wayles, the Redmen, and the Catholic church. Funeral to be held at 9:40 from the Catholic church with interment in the Catholic cemetery.

Close Call On Malin Street Fire Threatened Gasoline Vaults
A rapid fire department response prevented major loss after a coal house and shed containing a gasoline tank caught fire behind FE B Vaughan’s store on Malin Street between Tenth and Vth.
