James Hays Dead After Sudden Heart Failure
James Hays died suddenly at his mother's home on Franklin Avenue Sunday at three o clock. He was 49 and had suffered illness for years, five months confined to his room. He married Fannie Laudhner in 1858 and leaves three children, a widow, and his mother along with several siblings. The funeral was held at 3 PM Monday from the residence.
