Miner Killed by Missouri Pacific Train Near Myrick
Ferdinand Channel a coal miner was struck and killed by Missouri Pacific local No 1 on the River Route Thursday about 5 30 pm, two and a half miles east of Myrick. Train crews testified before the coroner's jury in Texington Friday morning. The body was taken to Winkler's for burial. He leaves a wife and two children. He lived at Rivertos and worked at Glen Oak.
