Ma s New Husband delight in New basil skit by seven artists

A bright snappy small sketch titled Ma s New Husband drew a large audience at the New basil Wednesday evening. The seven artist company kept three acts in good humor supported by catchy tunes and engaging songs. Dorothy the soubrette led by Miss Ethel Aubrey impressed most, with Jack Leroy and Harry Boyle as Fritz Dickles and Prof Hooker delivering solid comic work. Marie Longfellow, played by Miss Babe Hooker, was well acted and the cast overall meritorious. The show was a musical comedy in the true sense and Lexington theatregoers would welcome more of its kind.
