The Farm Bureau News reports Lafayette County winners in the Missouri egg laying contest. Mrs. Charles Seuser of Corder leads with 142 eggs per hen from a White Leghorn flock, while Rev. H. A. Heusi of Dalton now Higginsville in Chariton County averages 170 eggs with White Rocks. A Lafayette County commercial plant run by Charles Brockhoff and Rev. Meyer of Alma houses about 1700 White Leghorns and Anconas with a net last year of $2.00 per hen. the firm plans next year’s entries.

Lexington Highs Tie Warrensburgs in 20 to 20 Game
The Lexington High School football team tied Warrensburg C.M.S.T.C. 20-20 on Wentworth field. Warrensburg led 14-0 after two first quarter touchdowns, then Lexington rallied. A severe injury occurred when Bernie Grey of Warrensburg broke his leg on the final play. he was treated at Wentworth Hospital and later returned home to Breckenridge, Missouri.
