Hamlin Wins Sedalia Ballot For Congress In Democratic Contest

On Wednesday at Sedalia the Democratic seventh district nominating convention chose C W Hamlin of Green County on the first and only ballot by 44 votes to 42 for Judge James Cooney of Saline. Gov. Dockery attended and spoke as part of a harmonious gathering, with resolutions praising Missouri administration and condemning imperial policy.
