Lexington Public Schools Close a Successful Term
The Lexington public schools closed Tuesday, May 41, marking the most successful year in the district's history. Superintendent M J Patterson and faculty led progress across departments, with harmony noted among board, staff, and pupils. Diplomas were presented at the Geyer Grand after a program including a choral opening and an address by Dr BE Gordon. Helen Fulkerson led with top averages, followed by Winifred Winn and Albert Loomis. A class of 36 grammar pupils advanced to high school.
