Refused Medical Aid Until Message Delivered in Person
Four Missouri boys noted for valor west of Chateau Thierry are described in the St. Louis Globe-Democrat account. Lieut. James M. Sellers carried messages between Triangular Farm and Bouresches, refused medical aid until the last message was delivered, and was wounded. A letter from Mac says he was wounded by shrapnel and is recovering in a Paris hospital. Also noted is the death of Mrs. Kate L. Hale in Kansas City, age 70, with survivors listed and funeral details.

Lexington City Licenses To Boost Revenue in 1918
