County Court Progs Alters Taxes And Road Orders

County court held busy sessions at Weington transacting important business. Jurors for February term of the criminal court at Lexington named for various townships. Abatements approved for 1901 and 1902 taxes on multiple lots and estates. Road district matters include bridge work, new road assessment in Washington township, and railroad crossing reconstruction with O A connections. H Sinauer opens new clothing store quarters in Lexington with praise for 25 years in business.

Obituary Notice for Mrs Mary McFadin near Lexington Fray

Mrs Mary McFadin aged about 61 died at her home near Lexington Frify on January 3 after pneumonia caught from Christmas. Wife of Foro McFadin she leaves a husband two children and a granddaughter. A sister of the deceased and many Marshall friends mourn her loss. Daughter of the late Daniel Dowell she was widely known in the county. Her son has served in the Philippines for a year.

Confed erate Uline Honors At Atranvenens Event

The home chapter of the O B D O of Missouri plans to award 182 emblems crafted from brass taken from the Confederate cannon. The ceremony marks a significant event in the home chapter’s history. Miss Pearl Bay departed for St Joseph yesterday morning. Mr May Haley traveled from Omaha to visit Mrs Gillen in Lincoln.

Missouri Governor Dockery Reflects on Year in Office

In a wide-ranging interview Missouri Governor A. M. Dockery defends the first year of his administration. He cites a sound treasury, ample revenues to fund new and existing institutions, and reduced bonded debt.
