Castle Echoes Love Across Two Centuries
Merton Caldwell, a New York businessman, visits Constable Castle in England after a shared family legend ties the Browne and Caldwell lines. There he falls for Lucy Browne, but discovers she is to marry another Caldwell descendant. A moonlit tomb reveals Lucy is a lookalike of the knight’s supposed lady, and Caldwell realizes fate may demand he marry Miss Elisabeth Brown back in New England to honor an old alliance. He returns to Cape Cod to propose, while Elizabeth walks the sands unaware of the legend shaping their lives.
