Matt Wilson Dies In Eureka Auto Crash
A car accident seven miles east of Eureka Kansas killed Matt D Wilson and injured Ike H Noyes and others. The group was driving to inspect an oil well with C F Neff of Kansas City and included T Mitchell Blythie and Harry Johnson. Wilsons bride Mayme Chew accompanied him, and he had just married in Lexington in 1899.

Death of Capt John P Ardinger
Capt John P Ardinger, aged 67, respected Lexington resident, died Tuesday at 5 am at his son Horaver Ardinger's home 1908 Main Street from old age. Born August 15, 1880 in Martinsburg West Virginia he served as a Confederate major under Gen. Stewart. He lived in Lexington most of his life with early years in Aullville. Survived by five of ten children Horace C and Mrs Hugh Patterson, Robert C, James B, and Mrs W G Tompkins. Funeral conducted by Rev Robert L Cowan from the Ardinger home Wednesday at 4 pm.
