Democratic delegates met in Higginsville on Monday to organize the convention with equal female representation. Walter Gresham of Lexington was named temporary chairman, with Mrs Felix G Young as temporary secretary and James P Chinn of Higginsville as permanent chairman. Resolutions endorsed national, state, and county administrations and urged voting against Senator Jas A Reed for national convention delegate.
