Fire destroys Washingtons Leteler avenue home
Monday afternoon a fire on Leteler avenue destroyed Dick Washingtons house and nearly all contents. Origin unknown as no one was home when first discovered shortly after one. Firemen responded promptly but building could not be saved. Some canned goods and a trunk with money survived though bills burned. Insurance was small and loss about 1000.
