Injured Ladies Improving After Midway Crossing Incident
Gazette correspondence reports Miss Bertie McVorkle and Miss Gertrude Paxton slowly improving after a buggy collision with a Norfolk & Western engine near Fauver's crossing while en route to Mt. Local readers note dangerous road conditions, especially a collapsed culvert near Al Fults's barns, and praise Mr C Morrison for repairing the main road from Midway to A Ki Fuitz's.
