Briggs Morris Wedding on the Lawn at Normal Hill

Grace Briggs and Frank Morris wed at the bride’s home on Normal Hill in an open air ceremony under a harvest moon. The lawn glowed with electric lights and lanterns as Rev. Guernsey officiated after a Lohengrin processional. Relatives and friends attended with a luncheon follow and plans to reside in Lewiston after a Missouri visit.

Local Church Notes Highlight Summer Services and Changes

Rev John R Gregory of the Methodist church delivered his last sermon before Spokane conference. Union services of Presbyterian and Baptist denominations concluded for July and August. Rev Giboney led July meetings, Rev Guernsey August, with both to lead next Sunday. Rev Harris of Missouri preached at the Christian church, returning via Spokane. Presbyterian trustees lease basement to Lewiston school trustees for two large classrooms. Mrs Day and Mrs from Lincoln Neba add music to Christian church services. Baptist ladies plan an ice cream social at Mrs W P Hurlbot's home tonight. Rev Giboney to resume pulpit duties at Presbyterian church next Sunday.

Schools Open Monday as Clearwater Valley Gears for New High

The Lewiston area readies for Monday with 21 teachers and room setups in multiple buildings including the Presbyterian church basement. Wessels Urges Local Help for Idaho Exhibit at St Louis

Fair exhibit advocate Martin J. Wessels, commissioner on the world’s fair board, campaigned today for citizen and local support.
