Lewiston Milling Co Reopens Shipments to San Francisco
The Lewiston Milling Co resumed cargo transport to San Francisco last week sending a carload of 190 barrels for export to the Panama region. Over the past year shipments ranged from 200 to 400 barrels monthly, peaking at 600 in one month. The Panamanian crisis had halted export trade, now revived by last week’s orders, supporting home trade and a plan to operate the mill on a double shift to reach full capacity.
