The Famous Outlaw Tracy Ends His Flight
Citizens of Washington and O Taken its Own Life. Harry Tracy, the notorious outlaw, was hunted for sixty days before his death. Davenport, the county editor, and sheriffs pursued him after he fled Addy ranch. Tracy died after being wounded during a siege near Feltowa Creek, as a rock shelter failed him. His body was found at 4:30 am, covered in blood with a ghastly wound above his right eye.

J B Brown returned to Spokane from Thunder Mountain where he had been locating a group of claims called the Bonanza at the head of Monumental creek. The ledge crossing his claims runs ten feet and carries free milling ore. He plans to return next spring to commence development on his mines.
