It will be remembered-tlrat Carver was convicted in police court last winter on a charge of robbery with violence. Two others were convicted along with him. Carver appealed the case through \V. S. Bail and his appeal was upheld. He was then re-arrested and at a preliminary hearing he was sent ,up to the district court for trial. He was dismissed this morning for lack of evidence.
