Sheriff Recaptures Dively After Bold Jail Escape
Perkins county sheriff John Anderson recaptured Dively in Jessup Iowa with help from Aberdeen officials after a dramatic late night capture. Dively escaped from Bison jail by sawing through walls then fled to Nebraska and Pennsylvania before being tracked to Jessup where he surrendered. He carried over 1200 in cash and drafts. He will be taken to Bison for hearing then Aberdeen for safe keeping.
