Lemmon Commercial Club considers extending free freight on hay and feed to farmers. A committee will draft resolutions asking the railroad to allow more than one car and to provide timely shipments. James I Sheldon visits Lemmon securing a $500 deposit and $1,000 in stock for a new creamery to be operating by March 1. Sheldon to install machinery and may buy building and lots after two years. Creamery to be near the east end by the drainage ditch close to the railroad. Local businessmen rally to incorporate and fund the venture. Also, German Lutheran Ladies Aid plans a November 9 basket social to auction a quilt of 48 blocks bearing names.
