Memorial Day Observance in Lemmon Details
Lemmon observes Memorial Pay Day on Monday May 31 with a ceremony at Smiths Opera House after a 1:00 a.m. parade. Led by the Lemmon Band the route travels First Avenue West to First Street Main Sixth Street and back to the Opera House for exercises. Civil and Spanish American War veterans are urged to attend and assist with parade formation. local organizations are invited to participate. A Memorial service at First Presbyterian Church on Sunday May 30 will include an address by Rev W C Williams and all veterans are invited to attend.

Salaries fixed Auditor 200 dollars City Attorney 3200 dollars Treasurer 210 dollars Mayor and Aldermen 15 dollars each. Meeting adjourned for discussion on administration program and park improvements with trees shrubs and a census tilt.
