Mr Nason of Barnesville Mine built a cod house and sod barn on his Sec 6 homestead. The Nasons plan to move into their own home soon. Miss MacGregor is renovating her house. Regular preaching begins May 3 at Browers acho house. Leo Mottenbacher travels to St Paul for summer. Mike Kurt returns from Aber deen. A baby girl to Mr and Mrs F Weisbeek on April 7. Scagel and Noah City La have homesteads 22 and 27 and attend the last meeting at Mr Bentley's. Ed Lithrop’s baby boy born. Ole Nelson builds school houses and works on Alkire school in Sec 26. Urban Weightman may be added as postmaster. Weightman post office established, commission expected soon.

A villagers caucus at the Palace restaurant nominated a full slate for the Lemmon village election now organized by Butte county commissioners. Trustees include E. Payne, G. E. Lemmon, Wm. Nesbit, T. Nikigeh, C. C. Olson. Clerk J. K. Clark. Treasurer C. R. Braught. Assessor H. H. Aldrich. Justice E. T. Vallin. The April election aims to restore order and authority to Lemmon.
