About twenty members of the MW of A joined on Wednesday to repair and build a barn for neighbor A Christianson at his east town farm. The effort provided essential shelter during his move to a new farm after the death of his wife the previous night.
Liberty Stage Lold announces sale of Lemmon to Liberty and Mott route to Wm. Cole and J. M. Mobley. Regular daily stages leave Lemmon at 6 00 am for Liberty via Stowers with connections to Mott and return by 6 00 pm. New owners pledge reliable service, express package handling, faithful and accommodating effort, and liberal rates.
Sunday L. C. Reno returned from a trip to Newcastle Pennsylvania with his brother M. E. Reno and R. C. Wright. They are impressed with the country and hope to establish themselves here. The party hails from Newcastle Pa.

White Butte residents plan a seven by seven mile drive for coyotes and wolves on Wednesday March 6 led by captains from White Butte Northside Southside and West side. No firearms allowed and the roundup will raise funds by field selling to the highest bidder. Public invited for a rare day of sport in a fenced area near section 22-420-44.
Governor Veasey orders the election for the organization of Ziebach County north of the Cheyenne river. Five polling places are fixed including Dupree Cherry Creek subagency Spillmans ranch and nearby ranches. Locations cover the county north of Isabel and near Eagle Battle with central and eastern sites noted.
A report describes a fatal accident at Mott involving Frank Kaiser who was working at a plant Friday night. Kaiser was overcome by fumes and died after being rushed to a hospital. A Shepard Hey witnessed the incident and identified the victim.
