Lloyd Items Chronicle Holiday Report Near Carrington
Wm R Bronaugh completed proof on his claim on Nov 25 and left for Carrington North Dakota for holidays. L L Whitcombs expect a son from town to send the winter. Murle Whitcomb is in poor health and friends wish for a speedy recovery. A F Rogers young people spent Sunday at Lemmon. Christmas tree program at A F Rogers home is progressing nicely. Leo Huff, Peter Schnell’s brother in law, visits Schnell home seeking a location here. Huff recently returned from Texas. Miss Viola Stinger had a severe tonsillitis attack last week with Dr Horace Clark in attendance and is much better. Mrs Henry Stinger suffers erysipelas and is bedbound, prospects for improvement hoped.

Headlight Gleams and Sheep Loss in Last Week Storm
Herman Vogel reported the loss of 200 sheep in a storm driven pileup last week as 8000 animals gathered toward sheds. Sheriff Barry noted the incident, while Montgomery left for Meadow to enter the livery business. Rogers plans trips to Nebraska and eastern points for the holidays. Helpin Rowell and Smith returned from a Grand Hurtin expedition amid fatigue and disappointment, having bought half a beef from a neighbor. Rogers piloted coal loads into Lemmon for sale. Mr and Mrs A F Rogers hosted a social dance Saturday night.
